Junior QA Developer
Position:The Junior QA Developer will work closely with the technology team & the systems team in ensuring the overall quality of the MyNewPlace web sites, applications and related systems. This position is an ideal opportunity for a smart, energetic individual to have a significant impact on the performance and growth of a new online real estate business that is founded by industry veterans, well capitalized, and backed by leading Silicon Valley venture firms.Role and Responsibilities:The QA Developer role can be divided into two primary areas of responsibility:- Testing of web applications
- The design, coding, maintenance & execution of automated testcases to verify the functionality of the applications
- Release testing of the web applications
- Test data set up
- Coding test automation utilities
- Coding automated testcases
- Working with team on implementing and executing load & performance testing
- Builds & deploy of applications to Dev & QA environments
- Coding Build & Deploy scripts
- Continuous build scripts & code coverage metrics
- BSCS or MSCS or equivalent
- Good Java coding skills
- Understanding of Java Application server (J2EE, Servlets, JSP, Struts, MVC, etc)
- Good working knowledge of Unix, shell scripting, etc.
- Good working knowledge of SQL & relational database technology (Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent spoken and written English (this is a must-we have a fast paced highly collaborative environment and you need to be able to rapidly absorb new ideas and follow new directions that the collective thinking is heading in. You need to be able to champion your good ideas clearly and accept better ideas when they are presented, then clearly describe them in written specifications)
- A high level of attention to detail and personal responsibility for the quality of your work
- QA experience
- Test automation experience. Experience with any of the following tools & technologies: JUnit, HTTpUnit, HTMLUnit, Selenium, TestNG, SilkTest, Mercury, Rational Robot, Eclipse TPTP, etc.
- Load testing experience with LoadRunner, Performer, WAPT, other tools.
- Scripting with wget, curl, etc.

Account Manager, Services Channel
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this position is an ideal opportunity for a technical individual with excellent sales, marketing, and project management skills to sell and implement online marketing services including websites, data integration tools, and online marketing tools to property management companies. Get in on the ground floor of a new online real estate business that is founded by industry veterans, well capitalized, and backed by a leading Silicon Valley venture firm and some of the biggest names in the apartment industry.Role and Responsibilities:You will be responsible for exceeding services sales quotas by consulting with current clients to grow or enhance their online marketing efforts. These activities will include:Grow existing client revenue by selling website and online marketing solutions to our existing client base with a consultative sales approach.Manage the entire services sales lifecycle with a client including partnering with outside sales team to generate referrals, consulting with clients to sell website solutions including development and implementation of the solution, and ongoing maintenance/sales opportunities. Work with product and technical staff to ensure solutions meet architectural and functional customer requirements and standards.Participate in the design, development, and implementation of new products/services to increase adoption of MNP services and drive revenue.Develop product FAQs, white papers, and other relevant materials to facilitate sales.Ideal Candidate:- The ideal candidate will have a college degree and a minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience/account management in a high growth setting with at least 1 year working with a web development or service-oriented software company in a sales, business development or marketing capacity.
